02/06/26 17:18Meet Lola, a 4 year old grey pittie Lola is eager to be out of the shelter. She exhibits FAS level 4 in kennel (stiff body language, continouus loud alarm bark, jumping onto door, hard stare). On her most recent examination on 1/27 she was far less stressed when handled outside of kennel. Medical team was able to examine her and vaccinate her with ease without any escalation of fear, anxiety and stress. Based on her behavoiral evaluation, she is available for adoption or rescue.Lola is on trazodone to help improve quality of life while in the shelter, given her stress-level in kennel. She has been in shelter since 1/9/26. Lola does have a bite history prior to intake per notes from field staff, skin was *not* broken. No further notes available on nature of bite (provoked/unprovoked).Needs rescue due to kennel/barrier associated stress and placing needs rescue plea to avoid behavioral decompensation with prolonged shelter stay.
