Meet Ben, a sweet and playful pup eagerly waiting for a family to call his own. Ben is the epitome of happiness and goofiness. He's not only smart and playful but also incredibly cuddly, making him the perfect companion for family cuddle sessions. He can get excited when meeting new people and may jump and potential adopters with young kids should keep this in mind. Ben is great with us humans and feel he would do best in a household as the only pet. He is a smart boy that is house trained, crate trained and walks great on the leash. Basic group training classes is recommended to help him learn new commands, socialize with other humans and dogs, as well as build that fur-ever bond with you! His happy-go-lucky attitude makes every day brighter. Adopt Ben, and bring home boundless joy and playful companionship. Ben's story: He was found as a stray. His finders wanted to keep him with his happy-go-lucky personality but already have three dogs. Medical Note: This dog has tested positive for exposure to ehrlichia. This does not mean that this dog had/has an active infection of ehrlichiosis, only that the dog was exposed or infected in the past. This dog is/has been asymptomatic while in SOS care and is being treated/has been treated preventatively with a 28-day course of doxycycline. This dog is ready for adoption, though may continue to test positive for exposure to ehrlichia for some time.
