Meet Cathy! She's a 7-month-old, 27-pound Terrier/Basenji mix with the sweetest, most sensitive little soul. Cathy can be timid with new people and unfamiliar environments, so she'll do best with a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time and is willing to let her move at her own pace. Once she feels safe, she blossoms into a gentle, affectionate companion who loves being near her person and forms deep, loyal bonds. Cathy gains confidence from other dogs and would thrive in a home with a friendly, well-adjusted pup who can help show her the ropes and make her feel secure. Her energy level is nicely balanced-she enjoys playful puppy moments and the occasional zoomies once she's comfortable, but she's not over-the-top and also appreciates calm downtime. She's fully potty trained and uses a doggy door like a pro. Cathy is simply looking for a loving home that will give her the patience and reassurance she needs to settle in and truly shine.
