Meet Sapphire! This house hippo is the loveliest girl & truly stunning. She has the shiniest sleek black coat that you just can't help but pet. Sapphire loves to be by your side! She's extremely snuggly. She's friendly and loves toys and other dogs but can play a little rough so dogs her size or larger, if you have any, are ideal. Sapphire is house-trained but is still perfecting her crate-training skills. She also rides well in a car. She is so eager to please and be loved. Like most dogs, Sapphire gets nervous around very young children- they tend to be quite loud, make sudden movements, and are unpredictable in a dog's eyes. Sapphire was rescued from Georgia, where life on the streets isn't always kind to animals, and she's now ready for a fresh start filled with comfort and care.
