Meet Spike, a big handsome and loving boy in immediate need of a foster or forever home! He is a middle-aged boy, estimated to be around 6yr old, and weighs 95lbs. If you are looking for an easy dog, then Spike is for you! Spike is the happiest boy, who will make a wonderful companion for a family looking for a big headed Pittie! Spike is good with other dogs, and would be content as the only dog in the house, or would be fine with another other laid back friendly pup. Spike has been cat tested and showed no interest, so he may be suitable for a home with a cat. He&#39s also kid friendly, and has spent time in a temp foster home with a toddler and baby. He is crate trained, perfectly house trained (can be trusted when left out!), and he loves to go on car rides. He enjoys being close to his people, happily following along wherever they may go! Spike is a low energy dude who loves to stroll around a fenced yard, go for the occasional walk, but most of all cuddle up by your side on the sofa! This sweet boy is currently stuck in boarding while he waits for a foster or forever family - he is in urgent need of a home! Spike has a sad past - he was previously adopted, rehomed by his adopter to another individual who did not care for him, and he was later found as a stray with terrible skin/coat condition, and infected ears and eyes. He is now fully healthy and recovered, and ready for the love he truly deserves! Spike is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from the foster home.
