Meet Lucky - The Dog Who Will Steal Your Heart Lucky is a 2-year-old, 70 lb Hound/Boxer mix with a beautiful coat of tan, white, and little touches of black. His name hasn&#39t always matched his journey--he&#39s already lost two homes through no fault of his own. First, when his family could no longer care for him, and then again when his second family heartbreakingly lost their housing. Twice, Lucky thought he had found his forever, and twice his world was turned upside down. But through it all, Lucky&#39s spirit has never dimmed. He is the definition of resilience--gentle, loving, loyal, and full of joy. He adores people and kids, greeting everyone with tail wags and a big heart that just wants to love and be loved. He&#39s truly a &#34love bug&#34 who will make any family&#39s home brighter. Lucky has a medium energy level and loves stretching his legs in the backyard or heading out on a walk or hike--but once he had his fun, he&#39s quick to relax and snuggle. He&#39s currently being professionally trained, so you would be getting a companion, who already knows all his tricks and how to walk nicely on the leash. He is a very smart boy and picks up new tricks in no time. He loves his treats and takes them gently from our hand. Dog and people friendly and amazing in the car, Lucky would thrive with an active family who enjoys adventures as much as he does. A fenced yard would make him happiest, but what he needs most is love, stability, and a forever family who won&#39t let him down again. Lucky is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, house-trained, and crate-trained. He&#39s ready to leave his past behind and fill someone&#39s life with joy, laughter, and endless love.
