Come meet Rougaro and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (March 15th) from 12-3 pm at the PetSmart in Falls Church (6100 - A Arlington Blvd, Falls Church, VA 22044)! Name: Rougaro Best Guess for Breed: German shepherd mix Best Guess for Age: 1 year as of October 2025 SEX: male Approximate Weight: 50 lbs Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen him with cats but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Rougaro has lived with children and done well. Currently Living at: DC area boarding partner; would love a foster while looking for his forever home! Rougaro is Looking For: This young boy is looking for his own humans to lavish all that love and affection upon them. German Shepherds get deeply attached to their people - they're known as Velcro dogs for a reason. Rougaro may be a mix but he's certainly got that GSD in him and knows that having his own people, being safe and loved and under his own roof is the most important thing. What My Foster Says About Me: Rougaro is a very sweet dog. He's lived with small children and has done very well. He loves playing with other dogs and is a daycare enthusiast! He's a wonderful house guest as well. He learned "spin" and "twirl" this week. He loves training and is getting better on a leash every day. Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training. TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
