MARS NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!! Name: Mars Best Guess for Breed: Lab mix Best Guess for Age: 7 months as of February 2026 SEX: Male Estimated Weight:: 21.2 lbs as of 2/15/26 - he is still growing. Gets Along With: Mars does well with other dogs and has lived with cats! We haven't seen him with kids but are happy to discuss integration techniques with any interested adopters. I came all the way from Puerto Rico, and I'm learning about the DC area! I'm looking for a home that will let me play with toys and get my zoomies out and give me snuggles in between playtimes. I can't wait to explore my new neighborhood on lots of walks, and I'd really like to make a bunch of doggie friends along the way. I'm a little shy, so a welcoming resident dog and other pup pals will help show me the ropes! What do you say? Do you have room in your heart for me? What My Foster Says About Me: Mars is a wonderful pup who has really been coming out of his shell! He plays well with my resident dog, and he is very respectful of all dogs, big or small. He is a little shy around new people, but he warms up very quickly after a few sniffs. He sleeps through the night in his crate. Mars would make a great addition to any family, and would be a great companion for another dog!! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training. TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this puppy is $485, which includes the cost of routine vetting and transport from the shelter.
