Meet Silk, our yin and yang queen!This momma is in her prime time for lounging and getting loved on. She is a sweet girl who likes affection but is also happy on her own. An ideal home for Silk would be one where she can enjoy a nice big couch or dog bed to lay on. Silk is now enjoying the cushy life in a foster home (where she has been a star guest!), but she's looking for long-time home and people to love!Silk's is the SWEETEST girl in her foster home who never asks for anything - she's just so happy to be there! And shows her appreciation with hugs, snuggles, and sometimes some kisses.Silk is a very polite and quiet coworker, who alternates between sleeping and playing with a chew toy during the day, or maybe working out a treat puzzle. (But only dog toys for her, she never tries to play with anything that doesn't belong to her.) Silk goes on daily walks where she is perfect on leash and so easy to walk. She is lower energy and doesn't need very long walks, but she is happy for some time out to smell the roses.Silk is perfectly house-trained, and does very well in her crate - she'll even put herself to bed at night. If you allow her to snuggle with you on a sofa you will make her day! Silk loves to hop up, flop over on her person, play a little, and then at last drift off to sleep with her head on a lap (Or a chest. Or a shoulder.).We are working on a few basic commands - come, sit, down, and wait (she has the first two down and is doing well with the others!). She has been learning so fast because treats make it fun! And she's always very gentle taking her treats. Silk lives with another calm down in her foster home and has been respectful of his grumpy ways.
