A LOVELY, ACTIVE & SWEET GIRL: Approx. 4 years old / Approx. 29 lbs. Hi there, I'm Tatum! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control, and I'm so happy to be safe and loved while I wait for my forever family to find me. I spent some time in a wonderful foster home, was adopted for a few days, but it turned out not to be the right fit. So now I'm back with Mostly Mutts, feeling grateful for their care and hopeful that the perfect family will come along soon. I'm excited for this new chapter and can't wait to start my happily-ever-after! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts, and I enjoy playing with them. I liked the other dogs that were in my temporary adoptive home, too, but our play dynamics were a bit too much together. If you have a nice dog at home already, let's meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven't met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let's meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I may look like a wirehaired dog, but I'm actually very soft to the touch. I'm described as a friendly, sweet, gentle, and affectionate girl with a curious and calm yet active nature, and I was delightful during my bath at the shelter. I barked a bit at strangers while out on walks in my former foster home, but if someone comes up to say hello, I've been happy to accept pets and wag my tail - though I appreciate that they don't touch my hind quarters until I get to know them. / Energy level: 5-7, higher when I'm playing with other dogs. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the 'sit', 'stay', 'come', and 'drop it' commands and I accept friendly strangers without jumping on them. Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! / I'm doing well in my crate at Mostly Mutts and also in my former adoptive home. I didn't use a crate in my former foster home. I slept on my fosters' bed, and I stayed in my fosters' bedroom when they were away. / I did well with my potty manners in my former foster home as well as my temporary adoptive home, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home, too. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love cuddling and just spending time with my people, going for walks, and playing with toys and other dogs and I'm sure we'll discover lots of other things we'll enjoy doing together in my new home. / I don't like being petted near my backside by people I've just met, and like any dog, I wouldn't be happy without enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I'm a sweet girl looking for a great furever home! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I'm located in Kennesaw, Ga.
