UPDATE!!✨ They seriously do not get any sweeter than momma Margo! This girl may have come from a not so good situation but she doesn't let that show. She's full of love and just wants to please. She's quiet, calm, submissive and extra sweet. She has been the best mother and is going to make the absolute perfect companion. You really could not go wrong with this girl. She appears to be a purebred yellow lab. Our guess is she's 6-8 years old and will be 50-60 lbs once she's done nursing and gets back to her proper weight. This girl is literally the best! She's slowly filling out and really starting to look good. She absolutely adores her people once comfortable but is definitely shy with strangers but never aggressive. She is very treat driven. She's full of tail wags and love and is totally worth the small amount of patience it will require to get her settled into a new family. She will complete her vetting in just a few short weeks and will then be adoption ready. Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals. All dogs have a $195 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies/Dogs that are not available for adoption due to vetting not being complete can be reserved with an approved application and a non refundable $50 deposit. Deposits can ONLY be submitted once the rescue has been in contact on your approval and it has been requested through Wags and Whiskers. This deposit is applied to your adoption fee and the remaining $145 is due at pick up. Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquires and applications!
